About Jim Markey Mans Shop

The family
Alan and Declan
Markey.
Jim and Dorothy opened a local men's outfitter on Lower Drumcondra Road in 1978. Their sons Alan and Declan have run it ever since, from the same premises and with the same eye for a good fit.
Over 48 years the shop has built its name on clothes that fit. You get proper time and honest advice, and if something needs adjusting, the tailor is on site.
It has never moved from Lower Drumcondra Road, and it's still the same family behind the counter.
Inside the shop

The tailor
David Campbell
has been here
since 1978.
David is a master tailor with over 50 years' experience, and he has been in the shop since the day it opened. He alters anything you buy here while you wait: trousers hemmed, jackets taken in, sleeves shortened.
Alterations on anything bought in store are included, and you don't need an appointment.
